Green Beans Almondine

The toasted almonds compliment the sweet taste of the fresh, steamed green beans.
Yield: 10-12
Ingredients:
2 lbs. fresh green beans, trimmed and washed
¼ cup slivered almonds, toasted
Instructions:
Steam green beans in a steamer until al dente, about 3 minutes.
Toast slivered almonds in a skillet on low heat until golden, about 1 minute.
Top green beans with toasted almonds and serve immediately
