Dijon Mustard Maple Brown Sugar Glazed Pork Chop

These Dijon mustard and maple brown sugar glazed pork chops are cooked to golden brown.  They are a quick and easy way to prepare pork chops and feed your family a tasty dinner within minutes. Don’t eat pork? That’s ok, substitute for chicken breast.

Prep time:  5 minutes  Cook time:  25 minutes  Total Time:  30 minutes Yield: 4

Ingredients:

4 pork loin chops

1 Tbsp. olive oil

1 Tbsp. butter

1/4 cup Maple syrup

1 Tbsp. brown sugar

2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1.      Season pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper to taste.

2.      In small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard. Set aside.

3.      Heat a large skillet coated with olive oil and butter over medium heat.

4.      Add pork chops to the skillet in a single layer.  Cook for 5 minutes on each side or until browned.

5. Spoon sauce over the pork chops and turning to coat. Cook another 3-5 minutes and pork is cooked to at least 145 degrees F.

6.      Serve with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted broccolini.
